Okay let’s rewind for a second. Everyone knows that over the weekend Beyoncé released a short film/visual album titled Lemonade. The lyrics seem to be about a cheating husband, and understandably Queen Bey fans are not happy in the slightest. It has been widely assumed by pretty much everyone that the album is all about Beyoncé’s real life husband Jay-Z.
People have paid particular attention to her jam Sorry, which references a husband cheating with someone called, “Becky with the good hair.” The song has particularly poignant lyrics which suggest some serious issues in the Bey-Z household: “Looking at my watch, he shoulda been home. Today I regret the night I put that ring on.”
At first Beyoncé fans thought “Becky” was fashion designer Rachel Roy, an went after her with the indiscriminate fury of a billion bees. Now however, Bey fans have turned their attention to Rita Ora as they have become convinced she is “Becky”. Continue over the next page to find out why.
