Life tends to throw us a tonne of curve balls and generally, when it rains it pours. I know I’ve just thrown in a bunch of cliches in one sentence, but I believe them to be true. Sometimes, all of it can seem too much to bear. This young man felt that way when he decided to take his own life at the end of last year.
Kai Hannis, an 18-year-old man, ended his life after breaking up with his girlfriend, Rosie, in November of last year. He texted her, “so close to doing something silly” whilst he was living in a homeless shelter for young people in Stroud, UK. He then hung himself. A review of his text messages show that Kai also ” texted Rosie and Rosie’s mother in attempts to get back with his former girlfriend but she said no.” Read more about Kai’s story over the page.
