Beneath the ocean’s tranquil surface there is a whole heap of crazy stuff going on. Sometimes the “crazy stuff” rises to the surface and puts us off stepping foot in the sea ever again. This footage captured by a drone highlights that more than words ever could.
Shark Bay in Western Australia is a popular tourist spot. The world heritage site is home to a whole heap of fauna as flora and evidently a crazy amount of tiger sharks too.
Normally the alpha predators are harmless to travellers who journey through its nearby waters (as long as they don’t decide to go for a quick dip). However, when two small boats found themselves floating amongst a group of 70 tiger sharks in the midst of a feeding frenzy, they almost became bait.
