City Council Refuses A Garage Permit, This Man Finds A Genius Solution

Sometimes you can’t take a “no” for an answer. Even if it’s a “no” from your local council. Belgian Eric Vekeman couldn’t accept the fact that a garage permit was refused, so he built it anyway.

Eric decided to get a garage after he’d closed his food shop. But it turned out it was not possible due to the protection of the townscape. So the man build his garage a clever way – from the outside it looks like a regular shop’s window. That’s a great example of out of the box thinking.

It may seem like a lot of work, but the whole opening process takes less than two minutes. Yet Eric still dreams to make the door automatic. And who can stop this rebel when he has a clear cause?
