The war of words between the UFC and Conor McGregor has intensified. If you haven’t been following this ongoing saga, let me fill you in. On Tuesday evening Twitter went into meltdown after the Irishman tweeted that he had decided to “retire young”.
Nobody could figure out this sudden announcement. But that was until Dana White revealed that he had been pulled from the main event of UFC 200 on July 9th because he refused to fly to Las Vegas to promote his fight. According to TMZ, the UFC has officially cancelled the Diaz/McGregor rematch at UFC 200, but the 27-year-old clearly believes the battle could go ahead.

The Irishman’s coach has also weighed in on the argument and has attempted to drum up support for McGregor in the hope that the UFC will put him back on the card.
Ur call now. You are the customers. What do you want? Press conferences or fights? Make some noise because we’re ready to do the damn thing!
