The death of infamous rapper Eazy-E back in 1995 sent shockwaves through the hip hop community. The man affectionately called “the Godfather of Gangsta Rap”, Eazy-E died from complications from AIDS a mere month after his original diagnosis. The rapper reportedly lost his virginity aged 12 and went on to have 10 children with different women – which goes some way to explain how he caught the virus in the first place.
Or does it? The son of Eazy-E, Yung Eazy, has spoken out this week saying that he believes record producer and music executive Suge Knight was behind his father’s death. Knight is already in jail following his 2015 conviction for murder. Knight was involved in a hit-and-run incident that left one man dead and another hospitalised. CCTV footage was released showing Knight running over both men.
Speaking on his Instagram profile this week, Yung Eazy shared some choice words about his father’s passing – most of which were aimed at Suge Knight. Flick over to the next page to see exactly what he had to say.
