Burlesque Dancer Banned From Boarding Flight For Wearing These Shorts

There are a whole plethora of reasons why an airline can stop a passenger from boarding a flight: if you are notably sick, do not have a valid passport, or if you are carrying prohibited items, to name a few. Evidently now we can add ‘if you’re not dressed to the crew’s liking’ to that list too.

Maggie McMuffin (yes that is the best name ever), a burlesque dancer from Seattle, was banned from boarding a flight from Boston to Seattle because the air staff felt her shorts were “too short”.

The dancer had arrived in Boston on a connective fight with the same airline, JetBlue, earlier that day. However, when she went to embark on the next leg of her journey crew told her that “she was dressed inappropriately.” Check out the dancer’s attire in question on the next page…
