Never Before Seen Photos Show George Bush Just Moments After 9/11

It’s difficult to believe that the terrible atrocities that occurred on 9/11 happened almost 15 years ago. Those of us who were alive when the attacks took place remember the tragedies like they were yesterday. The eyes of the world were cast over America when the news broke and its gaze didn’t lift in the days, weeks, months and years that followed.

People demanded answers and the man they thought would provide them was residing in the White House at the time. I am of course referring to George W. Bush.

Bush’s presidency began and ended in controversy, and will no doubt be talked about well into the future. His time in office took place during one of the most dramatic periods in his country’s history. Arguably, the moments that followed the terrorist attacks, which shook the world all those years ago, were his most defining.

Before the pictures on the next page were released, Bush’s reaction to the events that occurred on 9/11 have been hugely satirised – after featuring on Michael Moore’s documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11. But these images show an opposing side to Bush that we have never seen before…
