When it comes to method actors, I’m of the opinion that they are a bunch of pretentious try-hards who need to settle down… That is until I heard about what Jared Leto got up to on the set of new superhero film Suicide Squad. Now, I don’t pretend to know much about Leto and when I’d heard that he’d got into method acting I had no idea that it went this far.
Not content with just messing around on set, Leto sent Joker-inspired gifts to his costars before they even started filming; including a live rat to Margot Robbie, a set of bullets to Will Smith and a dead pig to the entire cast. Sadly for the cast, Leto wasn’t done.
Speaking to E! Online while promoting the movie at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Leto admitted that he gave the cast a crash course in what it’s like to know the real Joker. Find out what exactly went down on the next page.
