Fans of combat sports have long grappled over the question: is MMA the most dangerous sport on the planet? I’m afraid I cannot provide you with an answer to that question, all I know is that it definitely isn’t safe. Every time a fighter steps inside the cage, they run the risk of ending up in emergency care, just like this guy.
Dominik Ośliło was fighting Maciej Szczepaniak in Poland when he was swung to the ground. Of course this isn’t a unique occurrence, mixed martial artists spend quite a lot of time wrestling on the floor. But luckily what happened to his arm as he tried to break his fall isn’t quite as common. After seeing what happens to this unfortunate fella, suddenly my neck injury doesn’t seem so bad.
