If you’ve ever been to Britain or have a friend from that not-so-sunny part of the world, you’ll know that Nando’s is one of the most popular nationwide food chains. Britons refer to visiting the restaurant as “going for a cheeky Nando’s”. Why? There is no logical explanation – it’s just a British thing. You know, like calling the guys “lads” and calling someone sly or with an attitude “cheeky”. But find me a Brit who doesn’t like Nando’s and I will eat my hat.
Regardless of the restaurant’s popularity, this woman (and her boyfriend) have been put off it for life after receiving some pretty awkward texts from one of the employees. The woman’s boyfriend, Reddit user tjstanding, uploaded four screenshots of texts that his girlfriend had received after calling the branch a week after visiting. She had lost her NHS (National Health Service) card and was hoping that she had left it at Nando’s.
