Megastar music mogul and bankrupt belle-beater 50 Cent is nothing if not entrepreneurial. In his club banger I Get Money, he states: “I take quarter water sold it in bottles for 2 bucks, Coca-Cola came and bought it for billions, what the f**k?” Having developed his “Formula 50” Vitaminwater drink, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson made $100 million from his shares (after taxes) when the company was bought out by Coca-Cola.
Water is all well and good but it doesn’t have the same allure as the mood-enhancing yet potentially life-destroying intoxicant we call “alcohol”. The drinks industry is a cool place to work and it’s only been made cooler with the addition of names like “50 Cent” and “P Diddy”.
Mr Cent has an endorsement deal with EFFEN vodka while rap rival Puffy has an endorsement deal with Ciroc vodka. Having made his apology following his public mocking of a learning-disabled janitor, Fiddy’s endorsement deal is now thought to be safe. However, Diddy’s boy French Montana also has a thing or two to say about 50 Cent and EFFEN.
