Last Thursday, Stanford elite swimmer Brock Turner was convicted for raping an unconscious girl behind a dumpster.  Brock Turner, originally from Dayton, Ohio, was given six months under what is considered an extremely lenient term for sexual assault. Instead of receiving 14 years, after accumulating his crimes, the judge ruled that any longer than six months would “have a severe impact on him”.

But this week the internet is blowing up after a note to the judge from the boy’s father has been released. In an effort to prevent harsh punishment, he describes his son’s crimes as a mere “20 minutes of action” that should not affect the 20-year-old’s life and chances to be an Olympic swimmer. According to reports, a Standford law professor uploaded the note onto Twitter.

The incident took place after a frat party after some heavy drinking and it was reported by two witnesses who saw Turner thrusting over the unconscious girl. The victim awoke in hospital that following night and had no recollection of the ordeal. To see the outrageous note, click next page.
