After Beyonce’s new album Lemonade was released on Saturday, endless rumours have been swirling around concerning the mystery “side chick” referenced to on several tracks. While many believe the woman to be fashion designer Rachel Roy, others have been busy speculating that popstar Rita Ora is the culprit in question.
It’s a well-known fact that Rita is currently signed to Bey’s husband Jay Z’s label Roc Nation, and has been photographed many times with the 99 Questions rapper.
Rita’s not been doing anything to quieten the rumours either; she stepped out in an outfit that was identical to that worn by Beyonce herself in her epic video for Formation, a single from her new album.
While everyone seems to be making a bit deal out of the outfit choice, it’s also been spotted on Kylie Jenner and Oasis star Noel Gallagher’s wife Sara MacDonald. Maybe we should just stick to the assumption that imitation is the best form of flattery and simmer down.
After all, in the past Rita has always fervently denied any rumours about herself and Jay-Z, and stuck up for Beyonce whenever she’s been asked about the situation.
